The Adapter Diameter VAC Hose Kit 1/4H with Ferrules comes as a part of an anesthesia delivery system. It consists of an adapter and 0.25 hose. The ends of the hose are covered by means of caps called ferrules. They are provided to prevent the ends of the hose from splitting and damage and are made of brass, which are highly wear resistant. They have zinc plating on the surfaces which protects the ferrules from oxidation. The hose is used for vacuum suction in the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG). The kit comes as a part of medical equipment such as S/5 Aespire 7900, among others.
